The new Facebook Messenger app is actually an extension to Facebook Messages meaning that all of your conversations, be it texts, emails, chats, messages are in one place. You can access the full history of your conversations through mobile or a web browser.

You can use this app on the iPad as well, but its not native so that means having to use it in that ruddy 2x magnified mode.
